Victron Energy SMARTShunt 500A/50mV Battery Monitor with Bluetooth

SmartShunt 500A/50mV is a battery monitor just like the BMV series, only without a display. Your smartphone with the VictronConnect application becomes the display. You can download the VictronConnect application for free on Google Play or in the App Store.

 
SmartShunt connects via Bluetooth to the VictronConnect application on your smartphone (or tablet) and you can conveniently read all monitored battery parameters, such as state of charge (current battery capacity), current charge current or discharge current, remaining time to discharge, historical information and much more.

 
Alternatively, the SmartShunt can be connected to and read by a GX device (eg Venus GX, Color Control, etc.). The connection to the SmartShunt is made using the VE.Direct cable, which is not part of the SMART Shunt.

 
The SmartShunt is a good alternative to the BMV battery monitor, especially for systems where battery monitoring is needed, but less wiring is required and a conventional display is not required.

 
The SmartShunt is equipped with a Bluetooth interface, a VE.Direct port and a connection that can be used to monitor a second battery, for mid-point monitoring or to connect a temperature sensor.
